Latest PBA Trade: Barroca now a Llamado!

Finally, after days of speculations and negotiations, the 3 team trade of BMeg, Shopinas  and Barako Bull is finally completed. Let us have a breakdown oif the trade.

3 way trade between BMeg, Barako Bull and Shopinas:

BMeg Acquires:

• Andy Barroca

Shopinas Acquires:

• Elmer Espiritu
• Brian Ilad
• future 2nd round pick

Barako Bull Acquires:

• Don Allado
• Future 2nd round pick

The 3 team trade obviously benefited the Llamados. With this trade they got a young and talented point guard, that can penetrate that will help James Yap and Peter Simon in the scoring department of the team. Also with the help of Coach Toroman, Barroca became a smart point guard that MAYBE the PG needed of BMeg for the Triangle offense in the near future.

This trade is also beneficial for the former UE Red Warrior wingman Elmer Espiritu. With the core of Shopinas, Elmer can shine with the team and maybe, be the go to guy in a span of 3 years.

After giving away Carlo Sharma, Barako will have a deeper bench because of the acquisition of former Archer Don Allado, with Don's shooting touch, if players like D.Siegle and W. Miller can penetrate in the game, Don Allado may be one of the recipient of the extra pass. His veteran smarts can also contribute with this experience team.
