Contrary to popular belief, there most certainly is an "I" in "team." It is the same "I" that appears three times in "responsibility."

No More H-Bomb for the Kings, now what to do?

Earlier this day, it was confirmed by Ginebra's Co-Coaches Siot and Jong the plan of Ginebra Big Man Rudy Hatfield to stop playing basketballl, and maybe to retire from the game.

This scenario is not new for the legion of Ginebra fans. Actually, this is the third time that Hatfield did it. And personally, it is better for him to retire, his commitment to the team is not there, and at this time, Ginebra Franchise needs commitment from their players if they want to be the Champion Again.

With Hatfield's departure, Ginebra has still 6 big men ( De Ocampo, Menk, W. Wilson, Villanueva, Cervantes, Mamaril), Menk is aging, and Yancy is not effective, it means that were left with 4 quality big men, and if they prove their worth to the team, it will give them playing time they deserve. But the question now is until when they can contribute?

This is where the player movements come into place, trading a guard, a wingman, and Yancy can give us one or two good big men. And for me, that will give us enough man power to bring us to the finals.

We know it's easier said than done, I hope the SMC management will try their best to give the Big man Ginebra badly needed.
