Contrary to popular belief, there most certainly is an "I" in "team." It is the same "I" that appears three times in "responsibility."

Let's give Coach Chard a chance

Sports & Recreation - Top Blogs Philippines

Last night, when majority of us was sleeping, a news broke out that Coach Richard Del Rosario was named as the Acting Head Coach of The Bmeg Llamados. Honestly, I thought it was just a joke, but it looks lie it was true. Now the question is, why coach Chard? don't get me wrong, Coach Chard was descent. But is he ready? I just can't imagine him this early handling a PBA team, especially a popular team like the Llamados. Can he handle the ego of their superstar James Yap? Can this 2 time MVP be happy with the situation of their team? It looks like the SMC is experimenting the Llamados.

BUT this can also be a deja vu, remember 2004? when Ginebra assigns Siot Tanquincen as their coach. Many fans like me, showed their frustrations with the choice made by the management. To make it worse, in coach siot's first 5 games, no W was registered. But what happened? in that same conference, Ginebra won the championship. In fact, they've had a BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONSHIP  campaign.

The point is, we can give coach Chard a chance. A chance to prove his worth, he can be the man for this job, there's no harm in trying. Maybe, he is the coach the Llamados is waiting.

Goodluck Coach chard!
